What Goes in to Making the Cookies?
Step 1 - Design
All cookie orders begin at the sketch board. Each cookie design will be sketched, in color, to final scale. When the sketches are complete, they will be sent for final approval. If a cookie design is a unique shape, a cookie cutter will be 3D printed. When design is approved, I ask for a 25% final deposit.
Step 2 - Making the Cookies
After the design is approved, the cookie dough is made, rolled out, cut to shape and baked.
Step 3 - Frosting Flooding
"Flooding" is the base layer of frosting that goes on the cookie. Typically I flood all of the cookies and let them set overnight before beginning final decoration
Step 4 - Final Decoration
Final decoration process depends on the design - sometimes it can be all outline and final color by hand. I also use stencils, air brushes and projectors to help with final design!
Step 5 - Packaging
When the cookies are set, I package them up to your desired packaging - individual bags or a display box. Final payment is due at time of delivery!
